ENCO was proud to participate in IFIB 2025 – The International Forum on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioeconomy, an event that brings together key global stakeholders to discuss the latest developments in the emerging bio-based economy. IFIB offers invaluable networking opportunities, including B2B meetings connecting startups, companies, universities, and public and private research centres.
During this edition, ENCO contributed by presenting scientific posters highlighting some of our current projects: SYMBA, MIXMATTERS, and FLEXIZYME.

The posters attracted significant interest, prompting numerous questions about our work, which were addressed by our colleagues Angela Marzorati, Head of Business Unit Communication & Dissemination, and Marcello Bardellini, Head of Research and Innovation Operations.
In addition, MANUREFINERY, another project in which we are involved, was showcased through a scientific poster by our colleague from the University of Ghent, further reinforcing ENCO’s commitment to advancing industrial biotechnology and the circular bioeconomy.
