EasyPRINT
3D printing is about more than simply competing for cost and speed optimizations of the same product. The true potential of 3D is realised when engineers can develop products which cannot be manufactured today, by taking advantage of rapid prototyping and translating them into full scale production of final parts using data-driven insights.
To address this challenge, EasyPrint will create a platform to facilitate the pre-evaluation by end customers of 3D printed products. EasyPrint, in line with the objectives of KYKLOS 4.0, allows manufacturing companies and global supply chains to offer to their customers printing solutions that meet the demands in terms of customization and mass customization. EasyPrint will be an important agent that will contribute to the creation of a circular EU manufacturing ecosystem shifting from the cradle-to-grave to the cradle-to-cradle approach.
The project achieves the following general objectives:
To lower the entry threshold for the use of 3D printing by end users through easy-to-use online applications that provide an immediate feasibility assessment of their projects.- To offer product’s customization making changes requested by end users adaptable to the technologies and materials available.
To reduce the input raw materials needed in the EU 3D printing centres.
Our Role
COMMUNICATION AND DISSEMINATION
ENCO is the leader of the Dissemination & Communication activities in Activity 3. It will work to attract key targets and to guarantee that the impacts of the project gain momentum across the EU.
