ESTABLISHING THE INVESTMENT NETWORK FOR STARTUPS AND ENTREPRENEURS FOCUSED ON GREEN AND SUSTAINABLE TECHNOLOGIES
The escalating impacts of climate change have resulted in worldwide catastrophes, causing considerable damage to both people and property. Introducing novel methodologies, innovations and solutions to mitigate emissions and ecological harm is essential to curb their impact. Start-ups specialising in green and sustainable technologies represent a promising avenue for achieving this objective. However, these start-ups often face challenges in securing adequate funding to initiate or complete the development of innovative solutions. The EU-funded IN4SFS project seeks to address this gap by increasing cross-border investment in the innovation ecosystems of Greece, Romania and Turkey. Additionally, the project aims to foster collaboration between green and sustainable start-ups and potential investors. Lastly, it will provide support to start-ups in enhancing their investment readiness and visibility to investors.
OUR ROLE
In collaboration with EAIC, ENCO will study the challenges in foreign investment procedures for startups and investors and provide a series of recommendations to leverage to local authorities and European regulators in order to facilitate the investment.
