SISTERS (Systemic Innovations for a Sustainable Reduction of the European Food Waste) is an EU-funded Horizon 2020 Green Deal project bringing together 18 partners from 8 countries. The project addresses food loss and waste across the entire value chain, from farms to consumers, through innovative solutions in short supply chains, smart logistics, sustainable bio-packaging, retail practices, and consumer awareness.
