SHEALTHY, funded by the European Research and Executive Agency, has achieved significant milestones in developing an optimal combination of non-thermal sanitization, preservation and stabilization methods to improve the safety, while preserving the nutritional quality and prolonging the shelf-life of minimally fruits and vegetables.

The video, available on the CORDIS EU platform, showcases the innovative approaches our team has employed to reach the objectives and the impactful results for reducing food waste.

  • Novel business models have been designed and defined to support and improve innovation processes within SMEs.
  • Efficient logistics systems have been developed by creating collaborative networks and clusters that facilitate the connection of value chain actors securing the traceability of the whole food chain and unlocking new business opportunities in local and regional food systems.

The SHEALTHY project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement No 817936.
